Why we set up Out and About

Inclusivity

Out & Wild Festival is committed to being a welcoming, safe, and supportive space for every person whether they be visiting, vending, volunteering, or working alongside us.

Our Festival is designed for queer, questioning and curious women and those who are non-binary. It is open to allies from all backgrounds, and we want everyone to feel welcome, safe, and secure regardless of age, gender, race, religious belief, appearance, ethnicity, sexuality, social/economic status, or disability.

We will not tolerate behaviours that contradict this statement. Bullying, harassment, and discrimination have no place within our spaces, both physical and virtual.

In terms of our acts and artists, we are focused on providing a stage to queer women and those that are non-binary, as they are currently under-represented at Festivals. We also aim to ensure good representation across the LGBTQIA spectrum, and diversity within this.
