About Us – Out & Wild
The UK’s first Wellness Festival, Out & Wild, designed for queer, questioning and curious women and those who are non-binary launched in 2022 and is now an annual event, taking place in June, Pride Month.
Out & Wild is a Festival jam packed with experiences and activities, covering music and comedy, wellness, spoken word, sports and workshops. We end evenings with live acts, silent disco and campfire talks.
“WOW…couldn’t have been better, what a fabulous experience and setting. A place I’ll hold forever in my heart. Loved all the fab events including wild swim, silent disco, kundalini yoga, softball and live singers. So many AMAZING authors talks and so much more. I came back feeling more myself than I have in ages.” Kathryn

The team behind Out & Wild are experienced at running festivals and creating LGBTQIA events. We felt that many events, especially Prides, tended to be designed for queer men, were centred in busy places, with very little focus on wellness
Our focus is on women and those who are non-binary, whether you identify as lesbian, bisexual, gay, trans, intersex, asexual, poly, queer or anything else. Allies are also welcome, all we ask is that you attend with an inclusive mind and a supportive spirit.
Our Ethos
Experience Led
Out & Wild is a festival focused around connecting through shared experiences. We will host dozens of activities over the three days, from wild swimming to yoga to creative writing and tasters of sport. There will be music every evening, with silent DJ sets under the stars at the end of the night.
Supportive
The festival is a supportive space. We will have meeters and greeters for those who come solo and a safe space area for anyone that needs it during the three days.
Inclusive
We are focused on creating a welcoming, safe and supportive spaces for all LGBTQIA women and those who identify as non-binary. We also strive to reflect diversity in our acts and artists.
We aim to also make the festival as accessible as possible for those with a disability or that have accessibility needs.
Community focused
We want Out & Wild to celebrate our community. We want to showcase female talent, which is often underrepresented at festivals. We will be working with local charities and organisations to offer bursary tickets. Every year we will choose a charity partner.
