Have you always wanted to explore improvisation? Do you want some new ways to generate material for characters and sketches? Maybe you want to put a full comedy show together using Improv?
In this special Masterclass Ali Hannon joins Jane Postlethwaite to teach you new tools in improvisation.
Ali (They / Them) is an award-winning comedy performer (Short & Girlie Show, More to Honk With) and trainer whose aim is to bring the joy of improv to people who don’t necessarily think improv is for them. Ali has developed a uniquely safe and nurturing queer-centred teaching practice that is enjoyed by students across the world.
They have performed all over the UK, including a nationwide tour, Women in Comedy Festival, Brighton Fringe and Camden Fringe Festivals.
Ali is currently performing their new 5-star show ‘Touch Hunger’ at Brighton Fringe Festival 2021.
Jane (She / Her) is a Comedy Performer, Writer and Podcaster. She teaches comedy workshops to people across the World.
She’s a comedy award finalist (Funny Women) who has taken her one-woman character and sketch shows (Made in Cumbria, The House, Last Night at the Circus & Haunted) to Brighton Fringe, Women in Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Fringe.
Her new projects include producing the ‘Character Building Podcast’ which involved collaborations with women new to comedy. She is also working on her first solo stand up show, ‘Bone idol’ and co-hosting another podcast ‘All the Terrible Things’.
