Join Team Out and About and The Outsiders Club as we take one of the city’s most famous walks, The London Capital Ring Walk Challenge. We will be doing a section every month, always on the third Sunday of the month. We will meet at 11am for the walk and then finish off at a pub for lunch.
Section three is one of the longer sections of the ring walk. However, there are plenty of cafes and public toilets along the route, ensuring we can refresh ourselves whilst enjoying the many sights available.
Description and walk difficulty
Much of this longer section is shared with the Green Chain Walk. It is generally fairly easy walking but there are a variety of surfaces – road, tarmac paths, rough paths and tracks, and some of them may be muddy in wet weather. The terrain is generally level with some long and quite steep slopes and steps at the railway bridges, but there are alternative routes that can be utilised as required.
